Just A Scenario #12 (Charity Game)

Chelsea FC, in coordination with a reputed NGO, wants to generate funds for ‘Education For the Underprivileged’, and what better way than to organize a charity game. It was Roman Abramovic’s idea to plot a Chelsea FC, consisting of our current players, vs Chelsea FC, consisting of our ex-players match. The entire earnings will go for community benefit.

You are assistant to Jose Mourinho and are asked to suggest 18 ex-Chelsea players (under the age of 38), consisting of 2 goalkeepers, 6 defenders, 7 midfielders and 3 strikers, and an ex-manager to manage them.

The Idea of ‘Just A Scenario(JAS)’ is that you will be presented with a hypothetical situation or a role that you could picture yourself in, and we would love to hear what you would do so as to get through the situation in the best possible way.

Your opinions and ideas are valuable to us, and we’ll love to see this section grow as much as it can.

Cheers!

  2. My team would be: Hilario, Turnbull, Babayaro, Carvalho, Gallas, Ferreira, Melchiot, Bosingwa, Makelele, Ballack, Geremi, Robben, J.Cole, Dufff, Gudjohnsen, Drogba, Anelka. Since Cudicini is 39 the only keepers would be Hilario and Turnbull. Also, players like Drogba, Anelka, Carvalho, etc. are still loved in the Bridge so their are automatic choices. I did not include Wayne Bridge as I think he would not come due to the John Terry incident. Finally, I think that the age limit should have been around 50 as players like Zola, Di Matteo, Desailly etc. could have also been chosen. Would have been a great idea though..

  3. Turnbull:
    Ferreira :Calvarho: Gallas: Bosingwa
    makelele ballack
De Bruyne: J. Cole :Solomon Kalou:
    DROGBA
    Mananger: ROBERTO DI MATTEO
